For his introduction.

Praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, his family, his companions, and those who follow him. And then:
I wrote this book (Thank Your Envious People) for every person who has a blessing, talent, generosity, and distinction and who has been afflicted by an envious person and punished by a spiteful enemy; to be a consolation and comfort for him; to calm his mind, soothe his soul, and reassure his heart, and to increase his praise, thanks, and gratitude to God.

The envious person is a clear proof of God’s blessings upon the envied one, and a shining proof that the envied one has become a shining star and a dazzling planet, as the poet said:

I used to think that when the jinn eavesdropped, they ascended to the stars.
When I rose and became a star, I was afflicted with every accursed devil.

I have collected in it sayings, quotes, poems and news about envy and the envious: so that the envied person may be a lesson and a sermon, a relief from worry and an outlet for sorrow, and so that the envied person may transform his sighs from the wounds of the envious person and his regrets from the arrows of the spiteful person into gratitude to the Bestower, glory be to Him, and joy in blessings and an increase in giving and diligence in seeking the highest.
And do not pay attention to the weak, cowardly, and pretentious people, chanting with Abu Tayeb Al-Mutanabbi:

If someone who is deficient criticizes me, it is proof that I am perfect.
